So, I was bored one day surfing the internet and read something about electronic cigarettes, It was only $9.99 for a months supply so i figured what the heck I’ll give the DSE-901 a shot. I told my friends and family about how it could actually blow smoke and everyone said “i’ll beleive it, when i see it.”

About A week Later I received my Electronic Cigarette package in the mail, I was excited to try it! I took my first puff of the electronic cigarette, I couldn’t beleive it, I was able to blow O’s, pretty cool right? But thats not the best part, you know when you inhale smoke you get that burning feeling in your throat, I don’t know about you, but when i quit smoking i just craved smoke going down my throat, i just like smoking in general I guess. Guess what the electronic cigarette i bought feels exactly like smoke going down your throat, except its not smoke, its basically the best invention ever.

In my house my parents always make me go outside for cigarettes, they didn’t care about the electronic smoke because it doesnt fog up the whole house or smell bad. It’s great because i Live in Canada and I hate going outside during cold winter days for a cigarette.

Anyway, I just straight up decided i dont need cigarettes any more. It had been about a week of using the electronic cigarette and you know whats great, I wasn’t Angry, You know how when you quit smoking you just get angry if somebody looks at you the wrong way? Yea well it never happened i got my Nicotine fix so i was fine!

Oh and wait a sec, i Almost forgot, My days of having a dry mouth every morning are now over, It’s great i dont feel like i need to brush my teeth every 2 seconds and my tongue doesnt sting anymore. Plus now my girlfriend doesnt make me put gum in my mouth when i kiss her, no more bad breath, go figure.

Next thing i was going to say was, I’m a college student right now, here in Canada a pack of the cheapest cigarettes goes for $10 thats brutal by any means. So i found my self spending between $300 to $400 a month, Money that i dont have. Thats like $4000 a year, that could pay off my car! Whats really sweet about electronic cigarettes, is you can buy these little refill bottles costs 10$, you just add a couple drops to the filter every day, lasts you a month… FOR $10.. pack a day smoking. Thats basically $300 extra a month, yea i know, its a new car payment, I didn’t buy a new car yet, but i think i’ll wait for the new Dodge Challenger to drop in price, its so nice.

Dr. Kevin Sherrin, president of the American Association of Public Health Physicians – who is not compensated by e-cigarette makers – says conventional cigarettes are “much more hazardous” than e-cigarettes. To get more smokers to use them instead of cigarettes, he proposes that e-cigarettes be immediately regulated as tobacco products. The use of e-cigarettes, he argues, could help save 400,000 Americans who die each year from tobacco-related illness, as well as 48,000 people who die from secondhand smoke, and 700 people who die in fires caused by smoking.

The FDA’s DeLAncey says while levels of carcinogens may be far lower than from regular cigarettes, the long-term effect of using e-cigarettes is not known.

While it remains to be seen what the exact impact of the product or news surrounding the product, it appears E-cigarettes are here to stay.
