I understand your suffering dear! I read your anger and frustration. At 60 years old haven't you found peace within!!!? I have a lot of empathy as well as compassion therefore I don't hold that against your inner pain. May you find peace and love within.

belleshaman: I am not your "dear." I don't "smoke." I have many ways of "coping" with life, including diet, meditation, exercise, sleep, sex. My life, in fact, is a constant transformation and you presume my "reality." You "understand" why I still "smoke?" But...I don't smoke anymore. What part of your thick skull is porous enough for that fact to permeate? I "smoke" as "a way of getting attention?" At age 60? So, why are YOU posting here? Thanks but... Seek help with those condescension issues.

If cigarette smoke smelled like a bouquet of roses and didn't make people cough, no one would care. People would be smoking around infants in hospitals and everything would be alright. You can't smell cancer.

See, I *WISH* e-cigarettes smelled like ass so I can continue to annoy people like that. I want to blow smoke at anybody who thinks they're entitled to tell other people how to live their lives.

No belleshaman, smoking isn't just about coping. It's also quite effective at preventing migraines, boosting metabolism, waking up in the morning (think coffee), reducing anxiety (think xanax) and providing focus (think ritalin).

OK. I HEAR YOU ARE STILL SUFFERING. I UNDERSTAND YOU DEAR. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE. i UNDERSTAND THAT YOU STILL SMOKE BECAUSE IT IS YOUR ONLY WAY OF Coping with anger, stress, anxiety, tiredness, or sadness in your life. Once you shall make your own decision, once you shall be ready to love yourself, you will transform your life otherwise you shall still live a life through anger, frustration, anxiety, stress, tiredness, a way of getting attention, .. and keep on avoiding facing your reality.

belleshaman: You know, I rarely say things like this, but you're either a troll or an idiot. It should be pretty clear that most pro e-cig people already have a bad habit. I did for 45 years, you think I didn't try everything including cold turkey?

Oh, and nbadran820, you are probably mistaken. I haven't had a real cigarette in many months, since my first e-cig, and the smell of them makes me sick. The only way I'd ever go back is if the FDA, in their wisdom, forced e-cigs off the market.

kwigg66: I started with a DSE910 from e-Smokey Treats, still keep one in the bathroom, but don't think the atomizers are as long-lived as the ones on the pushbutton jobs they also sell, which I use the rest of the time. I also bought one of their portable charger boxes. Visit their site. The e-liquid I use is Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured, because it's from Wisconsin, and the FDA can't stop the shipments because they aren't from overseas. But I'd do some surfing, not for ads, for testimonials.

Four days into using an e-cig I'm down from a pack a day Marlboro Red habit to 3 or 4 a day. "Vaping" tastes way better than smoking; you get the nic hit but not the carcinogens, and there's no smell, no fire, no mess.

has n e one quit using the e cig? just a question cuz i tried quitting too many times to count, and want 2 kno if this may help. If so, the price would be worth it.

It works. I don't have this particular brand, but I do have an e-cig. My breathing is returning to normal, my sleep patterns are getting better, and food never tasted better. I agree that the negative side of it is that it can cause others to get addicted with its appeal. But for me and other smokers who are already addicted, it is LITERALLY a life-saver.

Although I think this is a great idea, I also believe that smoking is a serious issue. Because this acts like a cigarette, it will probably trigger a smoker's craving for a real one. This could possibly increase the amount of cigarettes smoked; as well as the number of smokers!

Any agency or legeslative body which bans these while leaving traditional cigarettes legal is not doing so for health reasons.

I am a non-smoker and I am behind this product. The e-cig allows the smoker to get his fix of nicotine while allowing me to NOT smoke. E-cigs produce no second-hand smoke! For that reason alone, it is something non-smokers should champion.

Yes, it is best to not smoke (or vape) at all. It is best not to have a nicotine addiction. But this is second-best.

She's comparing it to not smoking at all. But if somebody already smokes, then that's an invalid comparison. The real question is, "is using an e-cigarette AS BAD AS smoking a regular cigarette?"

I'd like somebody to ask the ALA woman that. Not "is it good for you" or "should people use it," but "is it AS BAD AS a regular cigarette?"

Any1 interested in making some money over the next couple months by sitting on a cheap penny stock look into SFIO. This company is about to revolutionize the e-cigarette industry. Check out this video for a product demo: SGVA7OcZNPU

Well, E-Cigs do have nicotine in them which does increase heart rate, narrows artieries and causes several other issues. But yes, common sense tells you that the abscence of thousands of chemicals is a healthier choice for you and others around you.

The media has been bought and paid for as far as Nicotine replacement therapy is concerened. They will always hype up things such as gum, patches, champix (which made me crazy) and Zyban. I finally got smart and quit cold turkey.

Who, the overfed American Lung Association spokeswoman with the deer-in-the-headlights look (when presented with something which directly threatens her meal ticket)?

Or the older one who looked like a serious 100s addict, took two short puffs and said it sucks? (A serious drag or two on the model and strength I use would change her attitude, believe me.)

As long as I can get e-juice, I'll never smoke a deadly combustible again (nor use another of those useless overpriced patches, either).
