Posts like this just prove a point about militant anti-smokers. It's not that they gve a damn about anyone's health, rather it's a desire to control other people's behavior. There is nothing offensive about this at all, yet individuals like this twat I'm replying to still want to condemn those who may find a safer alternative that seems to do no one else any harm. Typical.

I tried this. IT's pretty good actually.

But the price is way out there for a pack a day person. If I decided to quit someday, then sure why not..maybe. The price on quit smoking products is twice that of the actual tobacco products.

I started to make my own smokes a few years ago. Most of the tobacco's I used are 100% additive free. only Tar and nicotine.

safe? no. Better for you than commercial death sticks..you bet.

Hey, Bi-man.... I'll bet U don't have any bad habits, huh? Except for that thing about being a really intolerant human being. My dad died of lung cancer, and your comment irritates the hell out of me. If they'd had e-cigs when he was young, perhaps he'd still be with us. And he was undoubtedly worth 50 of you, Bi-Man.

I love how nobody seems to understand that the nicotine isn't the main problem. It's the tar and the other harmful chemicals. Obviously nicotine can cause things over years of abuse, but if I smoke real cigarettes twenty times a day -- wouldn't you fucking thing I'd rather smoke just nicotine and water instead twenty times a day? Wouldn't you think that would be a bit healthier than tar?

This was a very useful, helpful post for those of us who are thinking of trying this to finally quit. Thank you

Just started using one, this week. I haven't got used to the idea that it's OK to inhale it and then put it in my pocket - or lay it down on my duvet; or leave it lying on a varnished tabletop. Feels weird, doing those things.

yeah its not so bad on your lungs because you're inhaling vapour instead of condensed smoke... nicotine still reduce the ability for blood to carry oxygen and still a carginagenic n all that but better for lungs :)

This cannot cure cancer but it can sure cut down on the amount of people dying from it.

lol its funny how they are implementing a reverse psychology on people. Saying that is healthier, saying that is better for you, almost makes it sound like a vitamin supplement. Come on people, look at the bigger picture here. If they are to invent anything, they should invent more fatal cigarettes so that all the people who are smoking and harming others can die faster. Obviously cancer isnt killing them fast enough so they keep doing this shit

FDA wants to ban e-cigarettes. It started with NJ senator Lautenberg who gains quite a bit in campaign contributions from pharmaceutical companies that make smoking cessation products such as Chantix, Nicotrol, Nicorette, etc.
There is online petition against the BAN please sign it. Youtube doesn't let me post the link. You can find it on thepetitionsite

No, it's not. It's just nicotine, flavorings (if any), and propylene glycol to get it the smoke effect (they use it in fog machines). Smoke is comprised of totally different materials, since it is a product of combustion, a chemical process. This propylene glycol vapor is a -physical- change. It goes from liquid form to gaseous form. No CO or toxic gases and carcinogens like a cigarette.

While this is a good alternative to cigarettes and the lung cancer/emphysema that chronic smoking can cause, nicotine itself can lead to hardening of the arteries, so it's not a "healthy" device per se. It's definitely an better, and can help people that want to quit or give smokers an alternative.

Liquid will not accumulate in your lungs. Propylene glycol, the "liquid" in the mixture, is a gas at standard temperature and evaporates on contact. They use it in smoke machines, for example.

I find surprising that innovative people use their potentials to create further means to deteriorate people's health. Moreover, through an intricate rhetoric argumentation, likewise the manipulations that are now so abundant in the food industry, this is meant to circumvent legal constraints that took decades to be implemented. I wonder why we don't live up to the challenges of our planet in the 21st century where cancer, aids and famine seem to be truly where innovation should be operating.

MorSidAsh - yes, I was a smoker, yes I am using e-cigarette, yes it works (unlike some chewing gum and plasters), but that cure for a cancer remark is bullshit.
