E Cigarette | Stop Smoking

Except that e-cigarettes are not marketed toward people who don't already smoke. Find me ONE instance where they have been. The government is trying to shut down e-cig sales entirely. The tobacco companies currently have no vested interest in e-cigs and would surely like their sales shut down as well (until they have their own version), and e-cigs have nothing to do with the Big Pharma either. The gov't wants them gone because they DON'T make money off of them.

The electronic cig I tried WAS SmokeStik. Jury is still out on these products, and we know that nicotine is still harmful, no matter how it is ingested.

If these products "work" for you, more power to you. I continue to think that the tobacco industry, the electronic cig. industry and the government are in this to get as many people addicted as possible so they can make as much $ as possible.

I've nothing more to "say" on this.

tantepie, you've tried the electronic cigarette and you've determined that they are still dangerous based on what? Did you have some sort of health issues that arose suddenly after trying them? No? That's what I thought.

Of course inhaling anything but the cleanest of air (which, in hospitals, is cleaned using propylene glycol--the main ingredient in e-cigarette liquid) is not 100% safe, but that doesn't mean e-cigs aren't 1000% safer than cigarettes. I don't want to quit. I want e-cigs.

tantepie. there is no 'smoke' involved in smokestik. The "e-cigarettes" you tried were likely made in China, which have been found to harbor harmful chemicals. Smokestik, however, is made in the United States, and is composed of three things: nicotine, water, and Propylene glycol (ruled safe for consumption by the FDA) I wish you luck on quiting. I, however, am about to enjoy nicotine without worry.

Hmmm...conflict of interests? Don't be scammed...this is marketing spam! Electronic cigarettes are still dangerous. There is no way to smoke safely. I know, I am a smoker and I have tried the electronic cigs. They only way to to be safe is to NOT smoke anything! I'm going "cold-turkey", and this time, I am going to succeed!
